Mast Comments on HydroFlo Strategy

APEX, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 10, 2006 -- Capital Access, Inc. (CAI) today issues comments by Dennis L. Mast, company President and Chief Executive Officer, regarding recent events, including the resignation of Neal Hill from HydroFlo, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HYRF). Mast states, "As founder and majority shareholder of HydroFlo, I wish to restate my commitment to seeing the company progress according to the plans and strategy presented in the shareholder letter dated December 19, 2005. This letter outlines the objective to dividend shares of Metals and Arsenic Removal Technology, Inc. (MARTI) common stock to HydroFlo shareholders as part of a strategy to create a public market for MARTI stock. The business goal of HydroFlo has been to nurture emerging technologies until they are strong enough to stand alone, then to reward HydroFlo shareholders for their continued support and investment. I am looking forward to achieving the first of these goals. Positioning MARTI as an entity separate from HydroFlo will achieve several favorable results. First, HydroFlo shareholders will reap the immediate benefit of a more direct ownership interest in MARTI. Second, MARTI will be able to secure financing on terms and in a structure otherwise not available. Finally, creating a trading market for MARTI stock would allow HydroFlo to more accurately value its investment portfolio." The full text of the shareholder letter is available on the company's website @

Mast further states, "Plans are underway to find a qualified CEO to replace Hill, as well as to see that new directors are elected at the next shareholders meeting. The management team remains dedicated to the belief that MARTI and all of the HydroFlo portfolio companies are sound investments in proven technologies. My company, Capital Access, Inc., is committed to providing the funding necessary for the continued growth and success of all the portfolio holdings."
