Masterseek Launches Expanded Business Search Engine With Content From 100 Million Companies

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - October 02, 2013) - Business search engine Masterseek has just launched a new, expanded search engine with content from more than 100 million companies, which includes related news in real-time from Marketwired as well as content from Wikipedia and Linkedin. Masterseek is the world's most comprehensive search engine with a focus on business. It has analyzed and accurately categorized 95 percent of all active domains, including over a billion pieces of data from more than 150 million websites, onto one convenient search option. The company will continue to focus on global web searches including big data, lead generation, and business data analytics.

Masterseek's Founder Rasmus Refer says, "We expect Masterseek will soon compete on a large scale with Google, Bing, Yahoo and others as a greater share of business-related searches are initiated at Masterseek as opposed to these types of social-centric engines."

Masterseek's goal of presenting a new and more efficient era of web searches related to businesses and business professionals is believed to be near at hand. Hundreds of developers and professionals from around the world are testing the beta version, which is expected to go live at the end of November. This new version will offer unprecedented opportunities to compare websites, professionals and companies through many different parameters, globally and locally based on searcher's preference.

"Semantic and Qualified Search" is the key phrase for the growing team at Masterseek, according to Refer. Elimination of irrelevant search results increasingly prevalent throughout all types of searches on engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo is expected to make business-related searches faster, more convenient, and more beneficial, which in turn is expected to attract an even larger portion of other search engines' customer base.

Refer says, "Without competition in the area of specific business-related searches, Masterseek expects it will compete with all search engines even beyond the scope of business related searches.

"I have looked forward to the moment where we can showcase our original vision since we started Masterseek in 1998, but this is not the end. There are already new ideas on the drawing board that will help to ensure Masterseek is the 'Best Qualified Search.' Our target is to be among the 10 largest providers of online information in the world within the next two years. We are confident we will reach our goal and I foresee a successful IPO on NASDAQ very soon."

More information will be forthcoming when the new version is officially live.
