"Matter of Minutes" Campaign Safety Demonstrations Will Show Dangers of Children Alone in, Near Cars

LANCASTER, CA--(Marketwire - August 13, 2007) - It only takes a "Matter of Minutes" for a child to suffer injury from heatstroke, carbon monoxide poisoning, brain damage, backover, or even die when left unattended in or around a vehicle. Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich has partnered with the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) to bring the "Matter of Minutes" educational and awareness campaign to the Antelope Valley. The campaign which is committed to keeping kids safe is on the cover of the August issue of the Antelope Valley Magazine.

Child Care Resource Center, local officials, and safety personnel will hold a press event with live demonstrations of the dangers of leaving children in or around cars on Wednesday, August 15th, 10:30 a.m. at CCRC, located at 42281 10th Street West near Avenue M.
