Mattersight Achieves Fourth Year of PCI Certification and Compliance


CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2013) - Mattersight Corporation (NASDAQ: MATR) today announced that, for the fourth year in a row, it has received the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 Service Provider Certification, the highest standard of excellence for payment card data security. 

PCI-DSS represents a set of comprehensive and rigorous requirements for enhancing payment account data security and supports the broad adoption of consistent data security measures to protect credit card data on a global basis. Mattersight's standard implementation extends these controls to protect all confidential client data. The PCI-DSS was created by major credit card companies to safeguard cardholder information and mandates that merchants and service providers meet and maintain stringent security standards when they process and transmit it.
