Mattersight Expands Leadership Team With Two Key Hires

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Feb 5, 2015) - Mattersight Corporation (NASDAQ: MATR), a leading provider of enterprise analytics, today announced that Jason Wesbecher and Ryan Swanger have joined the company's leadership team. "Jason and Ryan bring the right skills and experience to help us take advantage of the huge market opportunity in front of us and to build a repeatable sales engine," said Mattersight's President and Chief Executive Officer, Kelly Conway. "It is also significant that these two very successful sales and marketing executives were previously with Mattersight and have chosen to rejoin us. We are thrilled to have them back."

Mr. Wesbecher returns to Mattersight as its Chief Marketing Officer, leading the development of the company's brand, inbound and outbound marketing engines, and sales enablement and customer engagement programs. Jason has 19 years of enterprise software and SaaS experience, holding various leadership positions at Jive Software, Siebel Systems, and TIBCO Software. Most recently, he founded and served as CEO of Docket, a venture-backed, sales enablement SaaS vendor in Austin, Texas. During his previous tenure at the company, Jason led the Behavioral Analytics sales team and personally drove the sale of two of Mattersight's largest accounts.

Mr. Swanger returns to Mattersight as its Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales, reporting to EVP of Sales Richard Dresden. In this capacity, Ryan will lead the Enterprise Sales Team, which is responsible for closing business with new accounts. Ryan spent the past four years leading routing sales at eLoyalty LLC, during which time his team significantly expanded new business bookings. Previously at Mattersight, Ryan led the sales team focused on selling Cisco solutions.
