Mattersight Granted Two New Patents for Behavioral Analytics Applications

Mattersight's unique applications leverage advanced linguistic algorithms with consumer behavioral data to improve customer call center interactions and employee performance. Both new patented inventions have enhanced the solutions' ability to more accurately predict and precisely facilitate the scenarios that drive these outcomes.

U.S. Patent Number 9,083,804, titled Optimized Predictive Routing and Methods, relates to Mattersight's Predictive Behavioral Routing solution. The patent covers predicting customer personality types and routing those customers to available agents who are best capable of handling those personalities.

U.S. Patent Number 9,083,801, titled Method and Systems for Analyzing Multichannel Electronic Communication Data, relates to Mattersight's Performance Coaching application. The patent covers aggregating customer communication data from one or more sources and applying a language-based behavioral model to the communication data, as well as providing coaching to call center agents based on the results of the behavioral model.
