Mattson Achieves Key Milestone With Its Millios™ Millisecond Anneal System

(NASDAQ: MTSN), a leading supplier of advanced wafer fabrication equipment used by semiconductor manufacturers, today announced that it has received multiple follow-on orders for its Millios™ millisecond anneal (MSA) system from a leading edge foundry/logic customer to support high volume production of advanced technology nodes at multiple fab locations. "As our foundry/logic customers prepare for sub-20 nanometer production in the coming year, the Millios system has shown consistent transistor device performance along with higher productivity than its peers thereby providing a compelling cost of ownership solution," highlighted Johannes Keppler, Vice President and General Manager of Mattson Technology's Thermal Products Group.
