Maturing Cybersecurity Market Spurs Continued Record Growth for Skybox Security in 2016

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - July 20, 2016) - Skybox® Security, a global leader in cybersecurity analytics, has announced its strongest half-year results to-date, including a 56 percent increase in sales and 42 percent increase in new customer acquisition compared to the same period last year (Jan. 1 - June 30). A maturing cybersecurity market and desire among security leaders to integrate their existing security controls are driving growth at Skybox. CISOs are looking to unify data from their existing technologies in order to better understand and control the attack surface, all the ways an organization's IT systems are vulnerable to threats.

Skybox channel programs are also growing in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as in Asia-Pacific and North America. To keep up with this demand, the company has grown its global workforce by approximately 35 percent since the beginning of 2016 and will continue its aggressive expansion throughout the year to keep up with high customer adoption rates.
