                    Positive results from A238 and Tamreikat uranium prospects in Northern Mauritania

  *   Diamond drilling programme at A238 uranium prospect close to completion
      
  *   Assays  from "main shoot" of the A238 system reveal higher grade intersections of uranium mineralisation,

      *   Maiden drilling programme at Tamreikat prospect, 40 km north of A238 prospect, intersects mineralisation from

International  uranium  company Forte Energy NL ("Forte Energy" or "the Company") (ASX: FTE, AIM:  FTE)  is  pleased  to
provide an update on resource and exploration drilling at the Company's A238 and Tamreikat uranium prospects in Northern
Mauritania.
A238 uranium prospect
The  Company is pleased to announce the 1500m diamond drilling programme at the A238 prospect is nearing completion with
the  final  hole  of  eleven currently underway. While this diamond programme continued, the Company undertook  a  short
Reverse Circulation ("RC") programme to infill the "main shoot" where thicker intersections of higher grade uranium  had
been previously recorded.
Initial drilling at A238 had been undertaken on 200m spaced lines with deeper holes generally more than 50m apart  along
these  lines.   The  RC  programme was carried out to better define the location and trend of  this  mineralised  shoot,
primarily as an aid to better direct the next drilling programme, to be undertaken later in 2011, but also to attempt to
add more tonnes to the potential JORC resource that is expected to be calculated for A238 in Q2 2011.
This  short  programme  was successful in delineating thick intersections of higher grade mineralisation,  with  several
intersections being of significantly higher grade than previously recorded.

Tamreikat uranium prospect
The  Tamreikat  prospect  is approximately 40km north of the A238 uranium prospect, and was the  first  of  a  group  of
regional prospects drilled following completion of the initial resource drilling at A238 at the end of 2010.
The  Tamreikat prospect was identified from surface mapping and trenching. Seven shallow RC holes were drilled into  the
target  as  a  first pass exploration exercise.  All seven holes intersected uranium mineralisation with  several  thick
intersections of moderate grade being defined. Full results can be found in table 2.
These  results  from a very cursory drilling program are very pleasing and demonstrate the potential  of  the  Company's
extensive  ground holdings to contain numerous centres of uranium mineralisation.  The Tamreikat prospect  will  be  the
subject of further drilling in the next drill season starting in Q4 2011.
