CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - July 30, 2015) - Mawer Investment Management Ltd. announced today that Christian Deckart, Ph.D., has been named co-manager of the Mawer Global Small Cap Fund, joining Paul Moroz, CFA, who will continue to be lead manager. The firm also named Travis Goldfeldt, CFA, co-manager of the Mawer Tax Effective Balanced Fund. He joins Craig Senyk, CFA, who will continue to be lead manager of the fund.
Mr. Deckart joined Mawer in 2013 as an equity analyst for Mawer’s global research team. He has been working on the Mawer Global Small Cap Fund for the past year. Prior to Mawer, Mr. Deckart spent two years as a portfolio manager in Zurich, Switzerland for a European Family Office and also worked as an Equity Analyst at an investment boutique.
Mr. Goldfeldt joined Mawer in 2007 as a Business Analyst. In addition to co-managing the Mawer Tax Effective Balanced strategy, Mr. Goldfeldt is also responsible for the management and servicing of institutional clients and separately managed accounts programs.
