Maxim Group LLC Expands Equity Research Department With the Appointment of a Senior Maritime Transportation Analyst

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 29, 2013) - Maxim Group LLC, a leading full service investment banking, securities and wealth management firm today announced the appointment of Noah Parquette as a Senior Maritime Transportation Analyst.

Mr. Parquette's appointment is part of an ongoing expansion of Maxim Group's Equity Research Division. "The Maritime Transportation industry, particularly shipping, is cyclical. Prior to joining Maxim Group, Mr. Parquette spent six years as a research analyst at Global Hunter Securities and Cantor Fitzgerald covering shipping equities in the dry bulk, oil tanker, containership and LPG/LNG sectors. Previously, he was with Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., first in Debt Capital Markets and then in Strategic Finance, working on new issue transactions. Mr. Parquette received his bachelor's degree from Colgate University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation
