Maxim Launches Online Casting Competition With GotCast Seeking Contestants for 'Maximum Warrior'

Nine Winners Will Be Selected From Across the Nation via Interactive Crowd-Sourcing to Participate in the Second Annual 'Maximum Warrior' Event

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 5, 2011) - Maxim is launching an interactive, social media-based casting challenge to find nine civilians from around the nation to participate in their annual 'Maximum Warrior' competition. Competing at a tactical facility reserved for our nation's most advanced elite military units, the soldiers put their training and knowledge to the test in missions that challenge their shooting, driving and endurance skills. Each of the civilians will be partnered with a special operations military veteran and the teams of two will compete head-to-head in a series of challenges until one team is ultimately crowned The Maximum Warrior. The casting launched today on maxim.com and is powered by GotCast.com's social media contest platform, MediaBlastr. The casting challenge will run today through July 31, 2011.
