Maximizer Software Announces Second Consecutive Year
of Profitability

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 30, 2005) - Maximizer
Software Inc. (TSX:MAX), a leading provider of proven and affordable
customer relationship management (CRM) and contact management solutions,
today announced financial results for its fourth quarter and year ended
November 30, 2004. This marks the Company's second consecutive year
recording a profit under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

For the fourth quarter of 2004:

- The Company's total revenues increased $0.4 million or 10.7% to 4.3
million compared to $3.9 million in the previous quarter and $3.8
million in the corresponding quarter of 2003.

- Operating expenses and cost of sales were $4.1 million compared to
$3.9 million in the previous quarter and $4.0 million in the
corresponding quarter of 2003.

- Other income/(expense) was nominal compared to ($0.2) million in the
previous quarter and $0.4 million in the corresponding quarter of 2003.

- Net income under GAAP was $0.2 million compared to ($0.1) million in
the previous quarter and $0.1 million in the corresponding quarter of
2003.

For the 2004 fiscal year:

- The Company's total revenues increased $0.7 million or 4.3% to $16.5
million in 2004 from $15.8 million in 2003.

- Operating expenses and cost of sales were $16.0 million compared to
$15.7 million in 2003.

- Other income/(expense) was ($0.1) million compared to $1.9 million in
2003, which included a one-time gain on sale of subsidiary of $1.8
million.

- Net income under GAAP was $0.3 million in 2004 compared to $1.9
million in 2003 (after the one-time gain on sale of subsidiary of $1.8
million).

HIGHLIGHTS

Increasing Revenue

Overall revenues increased $0.7 million or 4.3% to $16.5 million in 2004
from $15.8 million in 2003. The breakdown by region was as follows:

- The Americas region recorded revenues of $8.6 million in 2004 compared
to $7.4 million in 2003.

- The EMEA region recorded revenues of $4.0 million in 2004 compared to
$4.2 million in 2003.

- The Asia Pacific region recorded revenues of $3.8 million in 2004
compared to $4.1 million in 2003.

Increasing Profitability

The Company achieved net income of $0.3 million in 2004 compared to $1.9
million in 2003 (after the one-time gain on sale of subsidiary of $1.8
million). The breakdown by region was as follows:

- The Americas region recorded net income of $1.0 million in 2004
compared to $2.1 million in 2003 (after a one-time gain on sale of
subsidiary of $1.8 million).

- The EMEA region recorded a loss of $0.4 million in 2004 compared to
net income of $0.3 million in 2003.

- The Asia Pacific region recorded a loss of $0.4 million in 2004
compared to a loss of $0.5 million in 2003.

Income from operations increased to $0.4 million in 2004 compared to a
nominal amount in 2003.

Expanding Customer Base

Maximizer Software continued to deliver on its 'Two Brands for Two
Markets' strategy increasing its sales of 'Maximizer Enterprise' to the
small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) market, and 'Maximizer' to the
small office/home office (SOHO) market.

In 2004, over 600 new and 2,600 existing customers purchased or upgraded
more than 30,700 seats of 'Maximizer Enterprise'. Of these customers,
over 2,500 purchased more than 26,800 seats of 'Maximizer Enterprise 8',
the Company's latest release, which started shipping in February 2004.

Also in 2004, over 1,900 new and 5,000 existing customers purchased over
13,900 seats of 'Maximizer'. Of these customers, over 5,300 purchased
more than 10,300 seats of 'Maximizer 8', the Company's latest release,
which started shipping in May 2004.

In 2004, the Company continued to increase its investment in the
Business Partner channel by recruiting additional sales and support
staff, implementing innovative channel marketing programs, and launching
a new partner program for Certified Solution Providers, Authorized
Resellers and Authorized Sales Agents.

Increasing Brand Recognition

Maximizer Software won 17 awards in 2004 which helped increase the
Company's brand recognition, including Customer Inter@ction Solutions'
"Editor's Choice" award, PC Magazine's "4-Star Rating", and CRM
magazine's "Market Leader" award. 'Maximizer Enterprise 8' was also
chosen over CRM products from SAP, NetSuite, Salesnet, and
salesforce.com to win VARBusiness magazine's "2004 Enterprise Software
Product of the Year" award.

To increase visibility, Maximizer Software also conducted targeted
marketing programs, including online ads, online sponsorships, Web
casts, white paper promotions, email campaigns, and e-newsletters with
numerous online media outlets.

Additional brand recognition came in the form of analyst research
reports, product reviews, and articles about the Company. In 2004,
Maximizer Software participated in more than 50 media and analyst
briefings, including meetings with analysts at Aberdeen, Beagle
