Maxine Harrington Joins Phoenix Healthcare, a Division of Phoenix Marketing International

RHINEBECK, NY and LONDON--(Marketwire - Apr 20, 2011) - Phoenix Marketing International (PMI), one of the fastest growing marketing research firms, announced today the appointment of Maxine Harrington as a Research Executive based in its offices in Richmond, Surrey.

Maxine holds an MSc in Social Research Methods, gained in 2008, and has been working in the healthcare sector for the last two years. She was previously employed with DMC Healthcare, an organisation commissioned by the NHS to implement new GP Led Health Centres across London and the South East. During this time, she worked across a range of qualitative and quantitative projects, some of which involved looking at different methods of engaging hard to reach groups to improve access to healthcare provision.

David Luery, Executive Vice-President, said of Maxine, "We are extremely pleased to have someone as keen and talented as Maxine join our growing team of top market research professionals." He was echoed by Andrew Scott, Managing Director - Europe, who said, "We are delighted that Maxine has joined Phoenix Healthcare; her appointment demonstrates our continuing commitment to building an exceptional client service team that is equally strong in qualitative and quantitative research skills."

Dr. Allen R. DeCotiis, Chairman of Phoenix Marketing International, commented, "One of the important reasons why Maxine joined our organization is our culture: an entrepreneurial environment founded on decentralized principles with absolutely no hint of 'corporateness.' Our culture allows us to spend 99.9% of our time performing the only two tasks that matter to clients: servicing them with everything we've got and doing research that exceeds the study's business needs. Our culture didn't experience an evolution of sorts but was purposely put in place on our first day of operation many years ago because we wanted our research staff to know they could spend their time thinking about the research."
