Maxxcapp Announces Management Changes

ABBOTSFORD, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 3, 2005) - The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of L. Evan Baergen as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Maxxcapp Corporation (TSX VENTURE:MXP). Mr. Baergen is a Chartered Accountant who has also completed the Information Technology Specialist program from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Baergen was a Director and Officer of House of Brussels Chocolates until January of 2004, and led the restructuring, financing and implementation of its business plan. Mr. Baergen possesses senior management experience in a public company setting, including financial and strategic planning as well as mergers and acquisitions. His experience will be utilized to continue the restructuring and financing of Maxxcapp.

"Maxxcapp has seen a lot of positive changes during the past six months and I look forward to continuing those efforts while contributing my knowledge and experience to the team," Baergen said.
