SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 18, 2014) - San Mateo Mayor Robert Ross and representatives of the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce gave a warm welcome to Roosters Men's Grooming Center which recently opened at 405 South B Street.
Businessman Michael Stajer, the store's owner, and Roosters MGC's talented team of hair care professionals greeted visitors at the grand opening celebration.
"This event gave us an opportunity to showcase the variety of hair care services and products we offer men and boys, and experience the feeling of a traditional American barbershop," said Lisa Byrd, the store's district manager.
Customers are invited to relax in oversized leather barber chairs in six semi-private barber stations and select from a variety of custom services including precision haircuts and shaves with hot steam towels, deep cleansing facial massages and moisturizing lotions.
Roosters Club Cut is an especially popular service among the store's customers, who receive a personal consultation along with a precision haircut, shampoo massage and hot-towel treatment. Each service also includes a style, brush of powder at the neck and splash of aftershave.
"Guys can't help but feel and look like a million bucks when they leave," added Byrd.
The San Mateo store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. To schedule an appointment or purchase a gift card, please call 650-362-8722. Walk-ins are always welcome.
