ST. THOMAS, US VIRGIN ISLANDS--(Marketwired - Feb 16, 2016) - Mobile Broadcasting Holding, Inc. (OTC PINK: MBHC) President Ken Sobel welcomed Ophthalmology Professional Dr. Byron W. Biscoe, Jr., as its newest board member as it continues developing its Board of Directors. "We are pleased to extend a welcome to the accomplished and esteemed Dr. Biscoe, Jr.," stated President Sobel. "We're developing a diverse board of directors as we complete activities that will fully transition us into our new medical cannabis company." In addition to its many other medical benefits, medical cannabis aids in handling a list of ophthalmological disorders, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other eye-related disorders. An expert of ophthalmological diseases, Dr. Byron W. Biscoe, Jr., has operated a private practice for over 20 years while simultaneously serving as a staff physician at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital. Dr. Biscoe, Jr., also currently serves as President of Laser Vision Institute of the Virgin Islands, LLC, Professor of Ophthalmic Surgery Caribbean Region and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, University of the Virgin Islands.

Acknowledgments and awards bestowed upon Dr. Biscoe, Jr., include Best Surgical Subspecialty in the Virgin Islands 2008 - 2014, which acknowledges his numerous surgical accomplishments; Best Doctors in America, and the Lions Community Service Award in 2008. Dr. Biscoe, Jr., completed his medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine and a general surgery internship at Howard University Hospital. He then completed an ophthalmic pathology fellowship at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and his residency as Catholic Medical Center at Cornell University Hospital.

Currently, 23 states and the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.) have legalized medical use and cultivation of cannabis. The U.S. Territories of Guam and Puerto Rico have also implemented medical cannabis programs. U.S. Virgin Island legislation expects passage to occur sometime around March/April 2016.
