mBlox Announces Michele Turner as New Chief Marketing Officer

Key Addition to Leadership Team Will Help Transform How Enterprises Engage With Mobile Customers Worldwide

LONDON--(Marketwire - Oct 10, 2011) - Today, mBlox announced the addition of Michele Turner as Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, Turner will help the company expand its global leadership in mobile commerce and messaging. With more than fifteen years of experience in high-tech product marketing, product development and business management, Turner brings strong, results driven marketing experience to mBlox. She will be based out of the company's Sunnyvale, CA office.

Most recently, Turner was the executive vice president of products at Cooliris, a venture-backed company building the next generation in personal media communications. Prior to Cooliris, she was vice president of the platform business unit at Adobe Systems. In this role Turner was responsible for product management, product marketing, and developer relations for the Adobe Flash Platform. While at Adobe, Turner led the team responsible for advancing the company's rich Internet application (RIA) technology platform for the creation and delivery of engaging applications and content across desktops, operating systems and devices.

Prior to Adobe, Turner served as a principal at Strategic Instinct consulting, where she worked with several Web 2.0 and search startups. Before moving into consulting, she served as vice president of product marketing and design at Netflix. Earlier in her career, she was senior vice president for product marketing at AOL, where she helped drive product strategy, definition, and delivery of AOL's Advanced Communications, Personalization, Mobile Portal and Netscape product lines. She was also Senior Vice President of Product at Excite@Home and held a number of management positions at Silicon Graphics.
