McCain's 2070E traffic controller is the sole 2070 controller unit currently available on the NYSDOT Qualified Products List. The 2070E unit facilitates upgrades to existing intersection management to a more modern, high-performance platform without replacing cabinet hardware. It was designed in full compliance with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) 2009 Transportation Electrical Equipment Specifications (TEES) making this controller the official replacement for the 2070L traffic controller.
