Figure Skater Patrick Chan goes behind the counter at downtown Toronto McDonald's restaurant in support of McHappy Day

What: Two-time Canadian Figure Skating Champion Patrick Chan joins McDonald's Canada executives, Ronald McDonald, and other special guests to celebrate McHappy Day. Along with kids from the Toronto Ronald McDonald House, Patrick shows his support by presenting a gift of thanks and heading behind the McDonald's counter to help raise money for children in need.

More than 1,400 participating McDonald's restaurants across Canada will celebrate McHappy Day. Local media, celebrities and politicians will roll up their sleeves to work behind the counter and help raise money for local children's charities.

Since its inception in 1977, McHappy Day has raised more than $26 million for Canadian children in need.
