McDonald's® Chief Executive Officer Jim Skinner to Deliver Keynote Speech at INTA's 129th Annual Meeting

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 28, 2007 -- This year's 129th Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association is proud to announce McDonald's Corporation Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim Skinner as its keynote speaker. The Annual Meeting has attracted a record audience of more than 8,500 attendees representing more than 140 countries around the world.

McDonald's Vice Chairman and CEO will discuss the importance and protection of brands through his experience with McDonald's Corporation. Mr. Skinner will also highlight what the McDonald's brand stands for, including its commitment to quality, service, cleanliness and value.

McDonald's has established itself as a leader among major worldwide corporations by being built upon a strong foundation that emphasizes a positive restaurant experience by personally connecting with customers and by investing in its people.

The keynote speech will be delivered at the McCormick Place Chicago, Level 2 - Arie Crown Theater, with the program beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2007.

Jim Skinner was elected McDonald's Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer by the Board of Directors in November 2004. Prior to being named CEO, Skinner was Vice Chairman of McDonald's Corporation. In his previous role as Vice Chairman, Skinner had management oversight of Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA), and Latin America, in addition to overseeing most corporate staff functions. Since the beginning of 2004, he was accountable for McDonald's Japan Limited, McDonald's second-largest market with nearly 4,000 restaurants.

Skinner held numerous leadership positions in his tenure with the corporation. Before becoming Vice Chairman, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the McDonald's Restaurant Group, with operating accountability for the company's more than 30,000 McDonald's restaurants in 118 countries. Prior to that, Skinner served as President and Chief Operating Officer of McDonald's - Europe / Asia / Pacific and Middle East, with management responsibilities for the nearly 12,500 restaurants operating in those geographic sectors. From 1997 to 2001, Skinner was President of McDonald's Europe. Before that, he was Executive Vice President and International Relationship Partner for Central Europe, Middle East, Africa and India from 1995 to 1997. He joined McDonald's International management team in 1992 as Senior Vice President and Relationship Partner, overseeing McDonald's development in Central Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India.

Skinner began his career with McDonald's in 1971 as a restaurant manager trainee in Carpentersville, Illinois. He advanced quickly and held numerous positions in the U.S. company, including Director of Field Operations, Market Manager, Regional Vice President and U.S. Senior Vice President and Zone Manager. In addition, he has twice served as an Advisory Director to McDonald's Corporation's Board of Directors. Currently, he serves on the U.S. board of Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Walgreen Company and ITW (Illinois Tool Works).

This year's Annual Meeting will be held at the McCormick Place Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, USA, from April 28 - May 2, 2007.

The five-day meeting features a dynamic mix of educational programs, policy discussions, exhibitions and networking opportunities.

Remaining true to Chicago's history, this year's Annual Meeting will incorporate blues and jazz music throughout the events, from the educational programs to the networking receptions.

Each day will start off with a highlighted session, offering discussion on some of today's most important trademark issues and case law, followed by other exciting and informative sessions, workshops, roundtables and the Exhibition Hall.

The Exhibition Hall will be open throughout much of the meeting and will feature more than 90 exhibitors and partners of INTA who will present their products and speak about their services.

Additionally, the INTA Exhibit will be in the INTA Exhibition Hall, and knowledgeable INTA staff members will answer questions about trademarks, meetings, publications, membership and the Association.
