McDowell Label Sued by Forbes Pharmaceuticals

HENDERSON, NV--(Marketwire - January 28, 2011) - McDowell Label of Plano, Texas, and its President John McDowell of Fairview, Texas, were sued by Forbes Pharmaceuticals for selling faulty labels.

According to the petition filed in Collin County, Texas, Forbes Pharmaceuticals ordered labels for one of its client's products, and the labels were faulty causing significant damages. Forbes alleges that after the labels were applied to the bottles the color started flaking, and it then contacted John McDowell. According to the petition, Mr. McDowell said that they would fix the problem immediately even if it means flying a person to out to the location where the labels were applied to the product.

Forbes alleges that it continued to work with McDowell Label incurring significant additional costs but that Mr. McDowell ultimately refused to honor his word. Forbes also alleges that after first committing to fix the problem, Mr. McDowell then refused to respond to repeated calls and messages to remedy the problem.
