MCPc Receives Identity Services Engine Authorization From Cisco

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - Jun 21, 2012) - MCPc, Inc., a Cleveland-based technology products and solutions provider and Cisco Gold Partner, has received Authorized Technology Provider certification for Cisco's Identity Services Engine (ISE) solution. MCPc is one of only 75 U.S. Cisco partners to hold this authorization.

ISE is Cisco's next-generation access and identity control platform that combines authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA), posture and profiling into one appliance. The Authorized Technology Provider for ISE designation validates MCPc's ability to help organizations deploy ISE across an enterprise infrastructure supporting 802.1X wired, wireless and virtual private networks (VPNs).

"Visibility and control of user access are critical components for a network to support BYOD (bring-your-own-device) while maintaining an appropriate level of security," said Dominic Del Balso, director of engineering for MCPc. "When our architects discuss anyplace workspace solutions with customers, network security is often the top concern for IT. Having expertise in a technology like ISE allows us to directly address those concerns with a specific solution knowing we have the engineering talent to deliver it."

A long-established partner with Cisco, MCPc holds advanced specializations in the core Cisco architectures of Data Center, Borderless Network and Collaboration, among several other product certifications. Earlier in 2012, the technology integrator received Cisco's Central Area Outstanding Solutions Partner award and is a recurring recipient of the Cisco Customer Satisfaction Excellence Award.
