Md7 Secures $50 Million to Fund Cell Site Lease Prepayments

Facility Enables Md7 to Support Operators' Expense Reduction Initiatives

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - November 9, 2010) -  Md7, a pioneer in wireless real estate management, announced today that the company has secured $50,000,000 in new financing. The proceeds from the capital raise will be used primarily to acquire rental streams associated with cell site leases through prepayments of rent to landlords.

Md7 works directly with wireless operators to structure and fund lease prepayments according to each operator's specifications and needs. The transactions are attractive to both cell site tower landlords who receive upfront cash today and wireless operators who achieve reduced operating expenses throughout the life of the lease without adversely impacting network operations. In addition to OPEX savings, the transactions result in improved lease rights for operators, facilitating a faster and less expensive rollout of LTE and 4G equipment to these sites.
