MDI Achieve and Harland Technology Services Form Strategic Alliance

Leading Providers Combine Expertise to Deliver, Implement and Support MatrixCare™ Solution to Long-Term-Post-Acute-Care Providers Nationwide

BLOOMINGTON, MN--(Marketwired - Nov 19, 2013) -  MDI Achieve, provider of MatrixCare™, the market-leading, certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution for long-term care and senior living providers, has formed a strategic alliance with Harland Technology Services (http://www.harlandts.com/). This relationship engages the respected nationwide provider of IT services to support the delivery and maintenance of the MatrixCare suite of products to long-term care and senior living providers nationwide.

Together, Harland Technology Services and MDI Achieve have more than 35 years of experience in delivering solutions to long-term care organizations. This shared commitment to help long-term care and senior living providers deliver superior care and outcomes to their respective residents forms the foundation for this strategic alliance, which falls under the umbrella of the MatrixCare™ Connections program. Connections is a platform upon which MatrixCare creates a partner ecosystem for the benefit of LTPAC providers seeking to securely integrate with current partners, or evaluate new partners to further their business goals.

Harland Technology Services' more than 165 strategically located technicians provide an onsite presence in 45 states nationwide. Along with extensive multivendor capabilities, this model ensures consistent and reliable service is always available to more than 15,000 customers.

"We are pleased to partner with Harland Technology Services, an organization that shares our commitment to delivering world-class client support," said MDI Achieve President and CEO John Damgaard. "Having reliable, user-friendly hardware at the point of care and throughout their facilities and communities enables our clients to fully implement MatrixCare. A full adoption of MatrixCare ensures that our clients will be positioned to demonstrate the quality and efficiency of care they deliver, which will continue to grow in importance as providers face new payment models and participation in ACOs."

Harland Technology Services provides comprehensive IT and related equipment support programs that will be especially beneficial for those MatrixCare clients that either have limited internal technical resources or do not have in-house IT staff. The tech company's offerings are in four major areas: 1) ITManager, a suite of managed services that includes security, data back-up and recovery, and network administration solutions; 2) network design and implementation; 3) computer hardware maintenance; and 4) MPowerPrint™, monitoring printer networks to help manage printing costs with onsite service and proactive toner replacement, among other services.

"We are excited to work together with MDI Achieve to provide end-to-end technology support solutions for their clients," said Jim Smutny, Senior Vice President, Harland Technology Services. "We are absolutely committed to helping LTPAC providers leverage the full capabilities of the MatrixCare solution to ensure better patient care and outcomes."
