MDN Purchases Two Properties in the Chibougamau Area From DIAGNOS

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 27, 2008) - MDN Inc. (TSX:MDN) ("MDN") announces the acquisition of two properties from DIAGNOS Inc., a leader in the use of artificial intelligence and advanced knowledge extraction technology.

Together, the East Barlow and West Barlow properties cover a surface area of approximately 15 km2 in the Chibougamau area. These two properties represent major base metal targets. They were identified by DIAGNOS using its CARDS (Computer Aided Resources Detection Software) technology, which helps define targets based on an analysis of all mining data bases available for a given area.

The East Barlow and West Barlow properties are located in the Gilman Formation, near the Gwillim shear zone. A total of nine deposits of varying types were discovered in this sector less than 3 km from the shear zone.

MDN is a Montreal-based Canadian exploration company that holds a 30% participation in the Tulawaka Gold Mine (Tanzania). Its main exploration activities are carried out in Quebec through gold and base metal interest and in Tanzania through a majority interest in 20 adjacent mineral licenses, including four gold prospects which are currently the subject of major drilling programs.

DIAGNOS is a multidisciplinary company with a team of 20 people, including seven geophysicists and geologists, along with specialists in artificial intelligence, mathematics, imagery and remote sensing.
