Meadows Bank Granted Nationwide PLP Status by U.S. Small Business Administration

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - January 25, 2011) -  Meadows Bank, headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, announced today that the U.S. Small Business Administration has approved the bank as a PLP lender (Preferred Lender Program). PLP status is the highest lending designation granted by the SBA and it is only granted to its most experienced lenders. PLP status means that Meadows Bank is given delegated authority to underwrite and approve SBA loans on behalf of the SBA, thereby greatly expediting the loan approval and closing process.

"Meadows Bank is extremely proud to receive nationwide PLP status. I am very excited with what this means for Meadows Bank small business customers -- faster loan approvals and faster loan closings," said Calvin Regan, Senior Vice President and Manager of the SBA Department. "The bank's SBA department worked very hard to achieve PLP status and we are grateful that this hard work was recognized by the SBA. The SBA is an important business partner and I would like to thank the Las Vegas District office for their continued support of Meadows Bank's SBA program."
