MedHOK Earns 2013 P4P Software Certification for 360Measures(R)

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2013) - MedHOK, which delivers industry leading actionable healthcare solutions for care, quality and compliance across an integrated cloud-based platform, announced today that it has achieved Pay for Performance (P4P) certification for 360Measures®, version 2.56, for the second year. A central component of MedHOK's single platform for care, quality and compliance, 360Measures® takes a cloud-based approach to ensuring quality improvement and compliance for health plans in Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid lines of business. It lets users continuously monitor and analyze P4P and HEDIS data, and calculate all 63 measures in NCQA's HEDIS certification program and all 23 measures in NCQA's P4P certification program. In doing so, 360Measures facilitates improved clinical outcomes and care coordination while enhancing quality measures, compliance and financial performance.

"360Measures provides a comprehensive end-to-end solution for Star and Medicaid performance, quality improvement, provider performance and best practices," said Anil Kottoor, president and CEO, MedHOK. "It also allows us to work with our clients to build custom P4P and HEDIS performance improvement programs."

In addition to monitoring P4P and HEDIS performance, MedHOK's integrated platform provides health plans with the tools needed to view patient information in real time and make it immediately available across the care continuum. By doing so in a manner that is meaningful to each end user, the MedHOK platform creates actionable healthcare wherein individual providers and integrated delivery systems can proactively close care gaps, comply with federal and state regulations, enhance care management and improve quality scores.

The California P4P program is the largest nongovernmental physician incentive program in the United States. Founded in 2001, it is managed by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) on behalf of eight health plans representing 10 million insured persons. IHA is responsible for collecting data, deploying a common measure set and reporting results for approximately 35,000 physicians in 221 physician groups.

An independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to measuring the quality of healthcare in America, NCQA is contracted by IHA to develop and maintain clinical measures and audit methodologies, aggregate all data across health plans, evaluate and audit Meaningful Use of Health IT domain Survey Tool responses and report results to all parties. It also provides HEDIS® as a set of standardized measures for reliably comparing the performance of managed healthcare organizations. More than 90 percent of health plans in America use HEDIS® as a tool. By leveraging NCQA-certified software, these health plans can save time and resources by forgoing the manual source code review portion of the HEDIS® Compliance Audit and P4P Audit Review.
