Media Advisory: 100 Calgary Citizens Learn to Camp as Part of Parks Canada's Centennial

BANFF, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2011) - Ms. Michelle Rempel, MP for Calgary Centre-North, will launch "Learn to Camp" initiative, as part of Parks Canada's 100th anniversary.

This original initiative will allow about one hundred Calgary citizens to experience their first overnight camping under supervision of Parks Canada seasoned outdoor specialists.

Ms. Rempel will take part in this event on behalf of the Honourable Peter Kent, Canada's Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada.
