OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 16, 2008) - Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame, an independent, not-for-profit organization celebrating and promoting Canadian telecom achievements, will unveil the Class of 2008 Telecom Laureates and Special Recognition Award winner at a press conference and media-only webcast at 10:30 a.m. EST, Thursday, May 22nd, 2008. This year's Telecom Laureates will join Edward S. "Ted" Rogers, Terry Matthews, Alexander Graham Bell and sixteen other Laureates and Special Recognition Award winners previously inducted into Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame.

Fame, accompanied by Michael Dunlop, Chairman of the Hall of
Fame Foundation's Board of Governors and David Colville,
Chairman of the Hall of Fame's Selections Committee.
