VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 26, 2015) - Media are invited to the 2015 Canada Day at Canada Place celebration. This year's event will feature a full day of free family fun, highlights of which include live music and performances on three stages, food carts, street hockey, the Canadian Forces Zone and the Vancouver Circus School. The evening will feature a Canada Day Parade on downtown streets, topped off by the Coast Capital Savings Canada Day Fireworks show.
In 2014, over 250,000 people attended the daytime festivities, 300,000 watched the parade, and over 400,000 viewed the two-barge, simultaneous fireworks show.
