Olympic Diver Helps McDonald's® Canada Launch National Fitness Program Attention: Assignment Editor, City Editor, Lifestyle Editor, Photo Editor, Sports Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 19, 2005) - What: Three-time world champion diver and Olympic medalist, Alexandre Despatie, joins McDonald's Canada President, Louie Mele, to launch and celebrate a national in-school fitness program, with support from the Canadian Olympic Committee.

As an expansion of McDonald's Balanced Lifestyles Initiative launched in 2004, this fitness program's goal is to motivate kids to get active. Participating students will also be in attendance to help demonstrate how the program works.
