Media Advisory: Army Reservist March to Fight Cancer


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 13, 2012) - Approximately 20 soldiers from The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment will form The Green Train March in memory of James Birrell, marching 13km through Peterborough to raise money and awareness for The James Fund For Neuroblastoma Research.

When: 11 a.m., April 14, 2012

Where: Peterborough, Ontario

What: Soldiers will depart the Peterborough Armories located at 220 Murray St and march 13km stopping at places of importance to James Birrell and finishing at Boston Pizza on Lansdowne St. As members of the Peterborough community, James' story has touched the lives of local soldiers that have been inspired by James' courage to keep fighting.

Media Opportunities: Media are invited to interview 33 CBG soldiers before or after the march.
