Media Advisory: Attorney General, Toronto Police and OPP Join MADD Canada to Launch Campaign 911

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 13, 2012) - Ontario Attorney General John Gerretsen, Toronto Police Chief William Blair and OPP Deputy Commissioner Larry Beechey will help MADD Canada kick off its 2012 Campaign 911 program on Tuesday, April 17. The event will include a special RIDE sobriety checkpoint to remind motorists of the important role they can play in helping police take impaired drivers off the roads.

Campaign 911 encourages and empowers Canadians to call 911 if they see a driver they suspect is impaired. Media are invited to attend the launch:
