Media Advisory/Aviation Milestones: Bombardier's 1,000th Dash 8/Q-Series Turboprop and 400th Global Business Jet

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 9, 2010) - The treasured heritage of Bombardier Aerospace's Toronto facility spans more than 80 years under de Havilland Canada, Boeing and Bombardier and has included the production of some 16 different aircraft models.

Today, the Toronto site is the proud home of the Q400 NextGen airliner and the
Global Express XRS and Global 5000 business jets, as well as the wings for the legendary Learjet aircraft.

Media are invited to join us as we celebrate the milestone 1,000th Dash 8/Q-Series turboprop airliner and 400th Global business jet.

A tour of the production areas will also be available to journalists and photographers.
