Media Advisory: B2B Celebrates 18th Year With Chai Ride

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 4, 2013) - The Baycrest Foundation is celebrating the 18th year of its Barrie2Baycrest (B2B) bike ride on Sunday, September 8, 2013. Funds raised from the "Chai" (meaning life in Hebrew) Ride will support health and fitness programs at Baycrest Health Sciences.

WHO: Over 160 riders who have raised a minimum of $1,250 each, together with event founders and organizers Larry Saltsman, Michelle Lavine, Garnet Rich, Jon Feldman, Susan Feldman and Stan Feldman and Michael Bregman. The event Co-Chairs are Warren Kimel and Garry Foster.
WHAT: Cyclists will kick off the B2B "Chai" event with breakfast at Baycrest and then take a shuttle bus to Barrie where they will begin the 110-km bike ride back to Baycrest. There will be a finish-line barbecue with residents of the Terraces of Baycrest, followed by a gala dinner event at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto.

Breakfast - 7 a.m.
Ride begins - 9 a.m.
Finish-line BBQ - 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
