Where senior leaders discuss the future of the Canadian biofuels industry

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 19, 2014) - BioFuelNet, the largest advanced biofuels network in Canada, is organizing its second annual Strategic Business Summit (SBS2), taking place in Toronto on December 1st, 2014, alongside the Canadian Bioeconomy Conference of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association.

The SBS2 brings together CEO's and senior leaders from industry and the investment community, leading academic researchers and federal regulators to share strategies on the best path toward a vibrant and sustainable Canadian biofuels industry.

Discussion topics:

  • Aligning the objectives of academia, industry, investment community and government in the biofuels sector, and a discussion of barriers and opportunities
  • Strengthening strategies on research focus and industry partnering as BioFuelNet enters Phase II of funding ($10 million)
  • Bridging the gap between the research community and the Canadian biofuel industry
