Media Advisory-BMO Volunteer Day: BMO Employees in Toronto and across North America Give Back

- BMO employees will be volunteering across Toronto and the GTA in more than 30 projects

- 6,500 BMO employees will take part in the bank's first North America-wide volunteer day

- 400 projects across Canada and the U.S.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 7, 2012) - On Thursday, June 7th, BMO employees in Toronto and across the GTA will be volunteering at charitable organizations and community service agencies in an effort to give back to local communities.

The events will be part of the first North America-wide BMO Volunteer Day, with 6,500 employees across Canada and the U.S. rolling up their sleeves to give back.

Assisting newcomers to Canada by providing them with resume building and sharing advice and identifying potential career paths
Horizons for Youth (422 Gilbert Ave.)
Revitalize 2012: a project to serve agency clients by cooking, cleaning and meal preparation
North York Community House (10 Flemington Road)
Get Moving!, an after-school homework program that focuses on physical activity, healthy eating and wellness education
Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services (3079 Danforth Ave.)
Community clean-up of the Taylor Massey area
Malvern Family Resource Centre (1321 Neilson Rd.)
Arts & crafts project with parents and children under the age of six
