Media Advisory: Canada Celebrates National Volunteer Week, Volunteer Canada's President Available for Interviews

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 24, 2008) - National Volunteer Week, the country's biggest celebration and recognition campaign of volunteers, runs from April 27 to May 3. Volunteer Canada's president, Ruth MacKenzie, will be available for interviews Monday, April 28, 2008 in Ottawa to speak about National Volunteer Week, the importance of volunteer recognition, the impact of volunteers on Canadian society and the current trends in volunteerism.
