Media Advisory: Canada Honours Veterans of the Korean War

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 22, 2011) - To mark the 58th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and our country's contribution to the Korean War, Senator Yonah Martin will represent the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs, at two commemorative ceremonies in the Nation's Capital.

Senator Yonah Martin will be joined by the Honourable Sung Choon Park, Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs for the Republic of Korea. At a reception following the ceremonies, Minister Sung Choon Park will present "Ambassador of Peace" medals to 11 local Korea War Veterans.
