Media Advisory: Canada's Economic Action Plan at Work in La Mauricie National Park of Canada

SAINT-JEAN-DES-PILES, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 21, 2009) - Mr. Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for Levis-Bellechasse, will be announcing, as part of Canada's Economic Action Plan, major investments in recreational infrastructure and the ecological health of ecosystems in La Mauricie National Park of Canada.

Mr. Blaney will make the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Jim Prentice, Canada's Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada.

The winners of a contest launched in the Mauricie region's elementary and secondary schools will be announced and accompanied by guests of honour, they will help to reintroduce brook trout into Bouchard Lake.
