Media Advisory: Canada's Last Known First World War Veteran Celebrates 107th Birthday

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 16, 2007) - Media are invited to attend a presentation of early birthday greetings to Mr. John Babcock, Canada(s last surviving First World War Veteran, who will be 107 years old on July 23rd. The greetings from the Her Majesty the Queen, the Governor General of Canada, the Prime Minister of Canada and the Minister of Veterans Affairs will be presented to Mr. Babcock at his residence in Spokane, Washington, by James Moore, M.P. for Port Moody-Westwood-Port Coquitlam, B.C.
