Media Advisory: Canadian Forces Liaison Council to Honour Canada's Most Supportive Employers, Educators

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 27, 2011) - Seventeen civilian organizational leaders from across the country, representing government, business and academic institutions, will receive awards for their outstanding support to Canadian Forces Reserve members. The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence, General Walt Natynczyk, Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant-General Peter Devlin, Chief of the Land Staff, and government officials will be among the dignitaries. National affairs correspondent Lisa LaFlamme will be master of ceremonies.

When:Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at 6 p.m. (Early media availability at 2 p.m.)
What:The CFLC will present the Ninth Biennial National Awards to organizations from across Canada for their support to the Reserve Force.
