Media Advisory: Canadian Forces Liaison Council to Honour Canada's Most Supportive Employers and Educators

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - 4 juin 2013) - Eighteen civilian organizations across Canada, representing government, business and academic institutions, will receive awards for their outstanding support to members of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves. General Tom Lawson, Chief of the Defence Staff, Vice-Admiral Bruce Donaldson, the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff, and other senior National Defence officials will be among the dignitaries. Don Newman, retired veteran journalist, will be master of ceremonies.

Where: Canadian War Museum, 1 Vimy Place, Ottawa
When: Friday, June 7, 2013, at 6 p.m. (Early media availability at 2 p.m.)
What: Canadian Forces Liaison Council Tenth Biennial Employer Support Awards to organizations from across Canada for their support to the Reserve Force.
Who: Award winners from the private sector, public sector and educational institutions, the Chief of the Defence Staff and other senior National Defence officials, and Canadian business leaders.
