Media Advisory: Canadian Forces Liaison Council to Present Military Reservists' Support Programs

WHITEHORSE, YUKON--(Marketwire - Feb. 23, 2011) - Media are invited to an information session where the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) will outline the advantages of its Employer/Educational Support Program for Reservists, their employers/educators, and the Canadian Forces.

When: Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 5 p.m.
Where: Gold Rush Inn, 411 Main Street, Whitehorse, Yukon.
What: The Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) "The North" Employer/Educational Support Program.
Who: Mr. Piers McDonald, president of Northern Vision Development, Order of Canada recipient and CFLC Board member representing the Yukon, will host the information evening. Brigadier-General Guy Hamel, Commander of Joint Task Force North, will speak about the role of military Reservists in the north, and the Naval Reserve command team from the Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel HMCS Whitehorse will be present.
