WHAT: "Ability for All" Event - hosted by cbm Canada.

What is it like to live with a disability in Toronto, Canada? Or for a child with a disability in Africa?

What can students do to make a difference for people with disabilities in their communities? Or in developing countries like Africa?

WHEN: Wednesday, December 7, 2011.

9 to 11 am - two school assemblies.

11 am to 12 noon - students participate in a wheelchair basketball game & demonstration with the Ontario Sports Wheelchair Association.

WHO: Motivational guest speaker - Tracey Ferguson, 3-time Canadian Paralympic Gold Medalist in Wheelchair Basketball and silver medalist at the Parapan American Games. Tracey will share her personal challenges and inspire students to make a difference in their communities and overseas.

WHERE: R.H. King Academy High School, 3800 Saint Clair Ave. E. (near Kingston Rd.), Scarborough, ON M1M 1V3.

WHY: In celebration of the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities, to raise awareness of the importance of inclusion for all persons with a disability.
