Media Advisory: Change of Command at Canadian Expeditionary Force Command

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 7, 2009) - On May 11, 2009, journalists are invited to the ceremony in which the command of Canadian Expeditionary Force Command will pass from Lieutenant-General Michel Gauthier to Lieutenant-General Marc Lessard. The Chief of the Defence Staff, General Walt Natynczyk, will preside over the ceremony.

Details of the ceremony are as follows:

- When: Monday, May 11 at 1:30 p.m.

- Where: Cartier Square Drill Hall, 2 Queen Elizabeth Drive, Ottawa

Media opportunities: After the ceremony, Lt.-Gen. Lessard will take questions from the media.
