Health Experts to Develop an Action Plan to Tackle Growing Challenge

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 24, 2007) - The Child Health Initiative (CHI), consisting of the Canadian Medical Association, Canadian Paediatric Society and The College of Family Physicians of Canada will co-host a Child Health Summit in Ottawa that will bring together experts, advocates, stakeholders and key influencers to discuss a wide variety of children's health issues in Canada.

The goals of the Summit are to raise public awareness, develop broad support for a Child Health Charter and Challenge, as well as to secure commitments to future action.
