REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - June 30, 2008) - Special citizenship ceremonies are carried out across the country throughout Celebrate Canada! Week, which begins on June 23 and ends July 1, Canada Day. For details about special citizenship events going on during Celebrate Canada! Week, visit the CIC Web site at www.cic.gc.ca.

This year, 35 newcomers will take the oath of citizenship and become Canadian citizens during a special citizenship ceremony on Tuesday, July 1st.

for Regina-Lumsden-Lake Centre, will
preside at the ceremony.


The Citizenship Ceremony is hosted by Government House.
