Media Advisory/CLC: Canadian Labour Congress Participates in Brandon Day of Mourning Proclamation

BRANDON, MANITOBA--(CCNMatthews - April 20, 2007) - Barbara Byers, executive vice-president of the Canadian Labour Congress, will join His Worship Mayor Dave Burgess on Tuesday, April 24 to sign a civic proclamation designating April 28 as a Day of Mourning for workers killed or injured on the job.

Time and Date: 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 24.

Location: Brandon City Hall, 410-9th Street.
